graph series (2016)
graphite, charcoal, rubber, on newsprint/tracing paper, 8” x 11”/ 18” x 24”
trace series follows graph series by tracing the forms created from the primary source material. This is how the trace series was formed and continues to expand not only by outlining graph series but paintings as well. Not every tracing is digitally recorded, however it is archived physically. trace series is a continuing series which is a means to physically record other art objects such as paintings and drawings through another art process. While doing this it gives the opportunity to reuse art (traced imagery).
